Based in the UK, Anando is “India’s finest tenor” (The Statesman 2009) and is arguably the only internationally recognised tenor to emerge from India. A lirico-spinto tenor he has performed for Belgrade National Opera in Serbia, Bury Court Opera, Dorset Opera, Instant Opera, Little Venice Music Festival and NCPA Bhabha Opera House in Bombay India, the Wigmore Hall and BBC Radio 3.
Welsh dramatic soprano Mari is a graduate of The Wales International Academy of Voice studying with the International tenor Dennis O'Neill CBE. International competition successes include third prize at the Montserrat Caballe Competition in Zaragoza, finalist at the London Wagner competition and finalist at the Elizabeth Connell competition for Dramatic Sopranos in Sydney, Australia. She has performed for English National Opera, Grange Park Opera, Mid-Wales Opera, Swansea City Opera and with Kensington Symphony Orchestra.
An alumnus of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Award winning international mezzo-soprano Laura Woods has performed for English National Opera, Opera Holland Park, Opera Siam in Bangkok, Bury Court Opera and Grimeborn at The Arcola Theatre.
Hailing of Trinidad and Tobago, international tenor Christian Joel is an up-and-coming artist of great promise. He has performed for Buxton International Festival, Pegasus Opera, Opéra de Lyon, Lucerne Theatre and Herkulessaal in Munich.
British-American Gerrit Paul Groen is a dramatic bass who has a distinguished international career. He has performed for Covent Garden, London Lyric Opera, New Devon Opera and St. John Smith’s Square. In Australia, for Pinchgut Opera, Pacific Opera and Sydney Camber Opera.
The opera has at its helm the international opera singer, Byron Jackson. Born, raised and trained in Birmingham (alumnus of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire), he has excited audiences all over the world with his powerful stage presence and voice. He has sung with prestigious opera companies and concert halls around the UK and abroad including English National Opera, De Nationale Opera, Opera North, the Royal Opera House, Pegasus Opera Company, Scottish Opera and the Adelaide Festival, Australia.
